Hawaii (Oct. 2014)

Our trip to Hawaii in October included lots of time at the beach, hiking with Grandpa I (where it poured rain and we ended up getting soaked), and hanging out with lots of cousins (shout-out to D&L for letting us crash at their North Shore place).

Pumpkin Patch (Sept. 2014)

I forget the name of this place, but we went for the pumpkin patch and didn't even take any pictures of the patch. Oh well, the other activities were fun too.

Research Leave

M has been on research leave this school year (2014-2015). It's been nice having him around a bit more while he works from home. And for a few choice days, this was his office.

Face-paint (Sept. 2014 - Feb. 2015)

I don't know what it is about face-paint, but the girls can exercise more patience waiting in line for face-paint than waiting for anything else.

Some artists are better than others, as you'll see.

Page (Sept. 2014)

In Sept. we made a trip back to AZ. Got to spend some time out at Aunt A's house. The girls loved it.

Also found time to hit the lake.

And make some new friends.

The Broken Collarbone (August 2014)

A day before school started K rolled out of her bed and broke her collarbone. She was amazingly brave, and even tried to make it to the first day of school. Needless to say, we're glad that it healed up.

Back from New England just in time to hit up the county fair.

M discovered that he's too old for these rides (they make him nauseous); and L discovered that she's not ready for the ones that move fast. 

Home Sweet Home (July 2014)

After 10 days on the road it was nice to be home and just play in the yard.
