Birthday, Round 3

Since these girls were this small, we've wanted to plan a joint birthday party. (Their birthdays are 5 days apart.) So, over the weekend they celebrated their 3rd birthday together.

With the help of a traveling petting farm and lots of friends, the girls enjoyed their joint birthday party.

Here's fearless N holding a chicken. K was a timid around the animals, but N was there to help.

K wanted to pet the goat but only with S's help. She probably sensed her mom's awesome sheep/goat herder skills, even though this was the mellowest goat S ever encountered.

The bunnies were the big hit for even our littlest party attender.

And even for our fellow Hawaiian and local boy.

The pony ride was the most exciting part of the party.

The cutest part of the whole party was when K sang Happy Birthday to herself. She's been practicing for months, and she didn't disappoint!

P.S Thank you Grandma I for attending the party. You haven't missed a birthday yet! Three down and many more to go! ;)

The Easter Post

We hid K's basket Easter morning and this is what she found. She's been asking for nail polish and band-aids.  She loved the little bags of M&Ms inside and told us, "It's too early for M&Ms", it was a proud parent moment.

She's been asking for another set of tea pots, even though she already has a few different sets.

K was ready to find those eggs. She preferred the hunt over the loot, as she hardly touched her candy.

These are K's Easter friends L and N. She's celebrated Easter with them as long as she can remember. ;)

This is K the diligent hunter. She even picked up the empty eggs left behind.

K's new favorite pose-- the pouty face. At least she's looking at the camera.
