China (Part I)

After a short stay in Hawaii, we headed to China. We landed in Shanghai 上海, went to Nanjing 南京for a couple of days, and spent most of our time in Hangzhou 杭州, where M met with colleagues at Zhejiang University 浙江大學.

The plane ride was long (needless to say).
This is the road we lived on. The place the university put us up in was spacious, but hadn't been updated in some time. Thankfully it had AC.

We frequented one of the famous noodle shops, Kuiyuanguan 奎元館.

In between rain and heat, we visited places such as the zoo.

And the West Lake

These photos of China are awesome. It's so great to see the girls see all of these parts of the world that not many people from the States get to see!
