Summer Fun 2010

Its been a hot summer filled with water, outdoor fun, and morning sickness. Yes, S's morning sickness kicked off in May and ended in mid-August; but we tried not to let it stop our summer fun.

We spent an average of 5 days a week in the water. M taught K how to swim at the nearby lake and pool. She's become quite a little fish and has the tan to prove it.

We ventured out around town to ride the Swan Boats, find new and exciting spray parks, and explore Castle Island.

K loves cupcakes and anything with cupcakes on it. She wore this shirt all summer, ensuring that we washed it 2-3 times a week.

Grandma I's visit couldn't have come at a better time. M and S were able to fit in a couple of date nights including a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. We enjoyed a trip to Newburyport for the Yankee Homecoming Family Day and a picnic in the park with newly purchased toys.

K experienced her first professional manicure and she's now hooked. S and even M have been busy applying and reapplying nail polish all summer long.

This summer was also a summer filled with friends. Some of them are now even old enough to read.

Besides the swimming lessons, K enjoyed a summer of surfing with M. She'll be ready for her first surf competition before we know it.

What a fish! Love it though. That, and her cupcake t-shirt. So sweet! Glad S is feeling better. Can't wait to see the second one. ;)

Yes, M devoted his summer in the water with K. It was fun seeing her grow more confident throughout the summer. ;)
