The day after we returned home from Hawaii, our Arizona family arrived for their summer vacation. We attended a Red Sox game (they won!) before we departed for the "Vacationland State" (i.e., Maine). Acadia National Park is one of the places we've been wanting to visit for quite some time. The weather surprisingly cooperated, offering spectacular views of the ocean and nearby islands.
We drove up Cadillac Mountain, the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard. We took a scenic nature cruise visiting Little Cranberry Island and we even saw some seals. A trip to Maine isn't complete without lobster, and we ate it almost everyday while we were there. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa G for the wonderful trip to Maine.

I heart Maine and it looks like you do too!!
Look at her. She already looks more grown up than when she left Hawaii! It looks like a wonderful time was had by all.
I want to be somewhere where new places are so close. Looks like you guys had so much fun.
These pictures almost make me trunkie. Looks like you guys had a blast. I'm blessed to be part of such a loving, united family!
We missed you too Uncle V. Family vacations are the same without you.
It must have been nice to be somewhere without the madness. It looks like you guys had fun.
