Our New Year

Its been three weeks since L's arrival, and we've adjusted much better than we thought. Since we left the hospital, L put herself on a schedule. She sleeps and eats at the same time everyday making it easier for us to plan a daily routine.

K LOVES being the big sister. She's our little helper offering her bath time and diaper changing expertise. When friends arrive to meet L, she proudly says, "Isn't my little sister cute?"

One of M's favorite things to do is cuddle with his girls. K wasn't much of a cuddler, but L definitely is. M looks forward to his nights of cuddling with his daughter while he relaxes. Let's just say the feeling is neutral, L sleeps best while in his arms.

Its been a very snowy month for us and we're glad we have a newborn as an excuse not to go out in this weather. We've never really adjusted to New England weather, even K is ready for it to end. She's enjoying her new red sled but she's already asking to go to the beach. She's definitely M's daughter.

S's recovery has been much better this time around. The last few months of S's pregnancy, she developed mild symptoms of preeclampsia once again. Fortunately, we were able to monitor it closely and schedule a c-section a week before the due date. S is enjoying more time with her girls and less time at the doctor's office.

At L's three week doctor appointment, she weighted in at 9 lbs and 11 ounces. L is 22 inches long. We're loving the newest member of our family, she's definitely our little light in the middle of winter.

Keep checking our blog for updates of these adorable sisters, and we'll do our best to post more than just once a month.

It was great to see you tonight! K and L are so beautiful, and S looks like she is ready for her next modeling gig (I'm trying not to be jealous). Thanks for posting pics... but I hope we get to see you many times before the big move!

How is it possible that she got even cuter in just two weeks?
