An Arizona Spring

Growing up in Northern Arizona, spring begins in March. The weather averages 65-70 degrees and almost everyday is bright and sunny. Now that we live in New England, March temperatures average 40-50 degrees and is normally snowy and grey. It is one of the hardest months to endure the whole year--it's so close to warmer weather but not quite there (especially when you have an anxious toddler ready to play outdoors).

Since K turns 2 this month, (which means we start buying a extra airline ticket) her and S headed west to warmer weather. With an additional 4 playmates, K's schedule included swimming, hiking, sightseeing, and playground time. Despite the arrival of her 2 year molars, she continued to take advantage of her time in the desert. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa G, we sure had fun in the sun.

it looks like she had so much fun in the warm weather, so would I. I also don't like march cause even tho here in utah it starts getting warm but then it snows and then it gets warm and then it snows again so its not truly spring until end of april.

I'm about ready to book a flight after looking at those beautiful pictures. Looks like a good time; even with new molars!

K certainly has some great places to visit and consider her second homes between Arizona and Hawaii, both beautiful in their own way. It looks like K had fun. I know her daddy missed her and S, and I can't wait to see all of you in a couple of weeks!
