Most of our afternoons are Daddy-Daughter time since Mom is working. The most recent episodes of Curious George happen to be about George flying a kite, and after seeing them K has been asking about kites. Since the weather was nice today and the wind was blowing we went to the park. Below are "K's steps to flying a kite".
Step 1: Unwind the string. (And untangle it from your shoe.)
Step 2: Run as fast as you can into the wind.
Step 3: If at first you don't succeed repeat steps 1 and 2.
Step 3: Enjoy your sweet success... for about 5 seconds.

im going to have to fly a kite with her when I get there.
5 seconds is pretty good in my book. Uh oh...we just started watching curious george. Does that mean I have to be adventurous and do things like you guys??
When Waiola gets older, it will be harder to keep him entertained. But you do live in Hawaii, with lovely weather year around. We have to be more creative in the winter. But its tons of fun playing with them. ;)
